Learn how to make soft cover accordion books from single sheets of paper in this introductory book arts workshop at Bare Knuckle Arts.

Inspiring in its simplicity and engaging in its playful range of possibilities, this easy to learn book structure can present multiple pages and ideas in sequence or all at once.

During this workshop, we will learn the basics of working with paper, construct a practice model, and using mixed media drawing and print tools, create at least one personally developed book for use as a small, portable journal, sketchbook, or content-focused book work. Illustrated handouts will serve as instructional guides during the session and for future bookmaking experiences. Generous feedback, experimentation and play will be encouraged throughout! 

No experience necessary and all materials provided. Ages 12 – Adult welcome!
